Complex architectures conceal security flaws and blind spots. A minimal, well-understood system with strict boundaries is inherently more defensible than an unwieldy stack of third-party dependencies.
Empirical Verification
Assumptions must be validated with telemetry. If a detection rule cannot be verified against simulated adversary activity in a controlled test lab, it cannot be trusted in production.
